This is one of those things that seems to have homeowners pretty stumped. I would say it’s the most difficult aspect of a construction project to put on canvas; it’s also one of the toughest to work with.
In the beginning of this trailer, the team at the show-and-tell was in charge of building the house. It was actually the main reason the show was going on. The house was a two-story construction project, but the main character’s father was in charge of the kitchen and his wife was a kitchen maid. I think the team was so excited to show the house, it was like they were the only ones left.
The building of a home is not a one-man-show project, and the guys at the show-and-tell (including myself) only got about half of the job done. The rest of the time, we were on hand to help them as well as the other contractors. I think the hardest part of the job is the fact that the house is so big and so much work is involved with so many walls and so much detail.
I’m not sure there’s any one way to take on this kind of project, but one thing I’ve learned is that it’s important to have your work space set up in a way that won’t be too much of a distraction or a distraction from the job.
It’s not as easy as it looks. Many people look at the walls and see a lot of people staring at them. It’s easy for me to understand the reasons why they see more people staring at them.
