The American Civil War was the bloodiest war in the history of the world. Thousands of lives were lost, many of them the lives of men who lived a life of privilege, who fought to preserve the freedoms that made them so well off.
I’m afraid they’ve gone too far. In the last few years the Civil War has been used as the template for a war of propaganda that is now going after the very freedoms that made the American Civil War so bloody. The same people who fought in the Civil War have now turned their sights on the Second Amendment, trying to ban anyone who isn’t white and male from owning guns.
The idea is that if you’re white, male, and not part of the 1% of Americans who have a right to own guns, then you are somehow unworthy of owning a gun. This is an attempt to disenfranchise the entire black and brown community at one fell swoop.
The problem is that the American Constitution doesn’t address the very thing that gives us the right to own a gun. You see, the Constitution’s first clause that gives us the right to own guns is the Second Amendment. The second clause of the Constitution gives us the right to bear arms. That is why the 2nd Amendment is mentioned: You have the right to possess arms. But the right to own guns as a whole is not mentioned.
And I’m not talking about the right to bear arms. My point is that the Constitution is not about the right to own guns, it’s about the right to bear arms. You can just as easily get the right to own a gun by reading the Second Amendment as you read the Constitution, you get all the benefits with the right to bear arms.
The Second Amendment was written in the 18th century. It’s about guns. For example, you can just as easily buy a gun from a government agency as you can buy a gun from a private company. The only thing that people like to associate with such things are the guns.
If you look at the founding fathers, they were all fairly gun-lovers. So, in a way, its about the right to own and bear arms.
The Second Amendment is written in the Bill of Rights, which is what it was written to address. It’s not about the Second Amendment only. In fact, the Second Amendment was written as an amendment to the Constitution. So if you want to know why the Second Amendment is so important, that’s why.
People like to think that gun ownership makes people more reasonable. But I think the reason people like to own guns is because they feel like they are in control of them. So if someone wants to own a gun, they want the power to use it. And if you want to be in control of the gun, you have to own the gun. If you don’t own the gun, it’s dangerous because you are still in the control of the gun.
