By I have a great head statue of the Olmec head god, Tezcatlipoca, which is based on the carving of the Olmec head god, Cheops, from the famed ancient Mexico City temple. I had it carved by a friend who worked on one of his favorite masterpieces, the Maya pyramid of Tezcatlipoca.
I haven’t had the chance to see it, but I have read that it’s a bit of a blur. I would think the head is based on the Olmec god’s head, but I’m not sure of that. It’s also very reminiscent of the famous Mexican pyramid of Cheops, so I’m not entirely sure what to make of that, either.
In any case I think its fun to have a look at this piece of art while waiting for my friend to finish his work.
